This Is Not a Government Office. Foard County Criminal History is a private reference site. It cannot retrieve an official record, conduct an official check, correct or remove government data, or receive an expunction filing. Those services remain with the responsible government office.
Need an Official Record?
These are the correct starting points for common Foard County record types:
- Arrest, booking, jail, and sheriff incident records: contact the Foard County Sheriff’s Office at 110 S. First St., P.O. Box 309, Crowell, TX 79227; 940-684-1501; fax 940-684-1947; Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Court case files: use the Foard County Court Case Lookup guide or call the joint County and 46th District Clerk at 101 S. Main St., P.O. Box 539, Crowell, TX 79227; 940-684-1365; fax 940-684-1918. The clerk page lists no hours, so call before visiting.
- Criminal-history records and official checks: use the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS), Crime Records Division.
- Police reports: request the report from the agency that created it, including Crowell Police when that department handled the incident.
- Expunction and nondisclosure filings: confirm the proper filing court and procedure with the clerk for the court that handled the case.
The sheriff does not publish a separately named records division or online records portal. Written requests may be mailed, faxed, or delivered to the sheriff, while filed criminal cases belong with the joint clerk. Requests for government information are governed by the Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552.
